In 2019 a shortage of rental accommodation in Tasmania saw the University of Tasmania address the delivery of new student accommodation in a range of creative ways with Morrison & Breytenbach Architects kept busy in the design of a variety of accommodation solutions. Our ability to deliver outcomes in a timely manner reflects our experience and versatility in the multi-residential sphere.

In keeping with our commitment to sustainable building, we were pleased that it included the adaptation of what was previously an academic building, now ready for occupation in the new academic year. Local and international students will enjoy the fresh and bright interiors and the natural outlook though tree-tops to distant waters of the River Derwent.

2020 is already gathering pace with a diverse range of residential, tourism, educational and health projects well underway.
